Q: So what kind of plots can I do?

A: Anything that fits the theme of the game! This means nothing horror-themed, graphically violent, or intended to provoke trauma in characters.

Q: What's this about no violence?

Any graphic violence, or violence that leaves lasting damage, is not allowed. Any characters who violate that rule are expelled from the circus immediately. The circus is a safe haven of sorts, and The Ringmaster has implemented rules against violence of all sorts. Magic and similar abilities will find that they physically can't be used offensively against another person.

Slapstick-style cartoon type violence is perfectly alright, as is minor injury. We don't expect that no one will ever get hurt! And accidents can have humorous results. We trust your judgement as to what's acceptable.

Q: So violence is out, what about smut?

A: Smut is a-okay! Het, slash, femslash, go for it! We just ask that you lock smut logs and warn properly for it, and that no non-consensual situations occur.

Q: Where will my character be living?

A: In their very own circus wagon! Resembling gypsy wagons, they come basically furnished with bed, stove, cooking ware, lamp, and storage space. They're not as narrow as they appear, and the wagons provide a comfortable and private home for one. Or even two... colors and designs vary! Wagons do, thanks to magic, have indoor plumbing and a flushing toilet.

Q: What can my character get beyond basic furnishings?

A: Anything within reason! The Greatest Show has access to every world, and The Ringmaster wants everyone to be happy. But if your character asks for a thing like a TV set, they'll also have to ask for a DVD player/VCR and DVDs or tapes and a small generator to run it all. (Don't worry, the generators are magical and don't run out of energy.)

Q: What sort of jobs are available?

A: Anything and everything! The circus seeks to provide entertainment to everyone in the universe, and that takes a lot of manpower. Any sort of performance act - mundane or magical! - is welcome, not to mention all the behind the scenes work needed to run a circus! But whatever your character ends up doing, it's entirely their choice.

Q: My character needs special equipment to perform their talent. Can they get it?

A: Yup! Any sort of equipment or props that could be needed can be found in one of many circus trunks scattered around the wagons and tents.

Q: Animals have been mentioned. What kind of animals?

All sorts! While horses and elephants are certainly among the creatures belonging to the menagerie, far more exotic and mythical beasts can be found. Don't feel limited! Want a chocobo? There's chocobos. Want a tribble? There's tribbles. ~~Neutered tribbles~~.

Q: What's the time ratio?

A: No real clear cut ratio, this isn't a place with a plot or specific timeline.

Q: You promised more info on that magic parchment, what's that about?

A: Your character will have a never ending supply of parchment! This is the network function. There's no separate community for it, simply mark your post as 'Log' or 'Personal Communication'. The same message can be sent to more than one person, just specify the recipients! It will immediately be delivered in a puff of magic.
